This book provides a thought about Lateral thinking. According to the author, we all humans think in vertical manner , that is, given a problem, or situation our thought process provides us some knowledge gained from the past experinces and as per the normal beliefs. We opt for the best one suitable to that situation and thinks that this is best solution to the problem.But according to the author their are many such possible alternatives which we couldn't even think of ..the thinking that enables our mind to think beyond this is Lateral thinking........The author suggests that one should have to practise and practise again with this thinking to make our mind process like lateral thinking, in the book he has provided us some exercises and exsamples to differentiate netween the two modes of thinking that is Vertical and Lateral....Nice book ...It actually teaches to think out of the Box ....Logically...
